One goal. Many paths.

Where the next decade is being decided.

Six areas in which I hold genuine depth, established relationships, and a clear view of what is actually happening rather than what is being reported.

I do not cover every sector. I cover six, in depth, because useful judgement comes from years spent inside a market rather than from a briefing note about it. Each is an area where I hold established relationships and a clear view of what is actually happening.

The six sectors

Europe is rearming and the capital structures have not kept pace with the technology. I work at the point where defence innovation meets private capital, including through my engagement with Ukraine’s innovation ecosystem, where defence and security is now the primary area of development.

Generation, storage, grid, and the infrastructure that underpins all three. A sector in which the investment case and the political case advance at different speeds, and where the ability to distinguish between them determines the outcome.

Consumer health is where clinical innovation meets distribution, and the investment case usually turns on the second rather than the first. Treatments that work and treatments that reach people are not the same thing. I work on scalable delivery platforms and on the regulatory and structural questions that determine whether a health venture can grow beyond its first market.

Film and television finance is structurally unlike most private capital. Projects arrive packaged, with script, cast, budget and distribution already in place, and with co-production capital, public incentive schemes and distribution pre-sales covering a substantial share of the cost before any outside money is required. What determines the outcome is the final layer of capital and where it sits in the repayment waterfall. I work on how those structures are built, where the risk actually sits, and whether the protections a document describes hold in practice.

Also referred to as residency and investment migration.

Residency by investment has been reshaped across Europe within four years. Several major programmes have closed and those that remain have tightened materially. I help families understand what is genuinely available, what it requires in practice, and whether it serves the outcome they actually want.

Early stage technology with long horizons and hard science beneath it. The area in which my structuring background and my engagement with Ukraine’s innovation ecosystem meet directly.

One goal. Many paths.

If you are assessing an opportunity in any of these areas, or building a position in one, a conversation is the fastest way to establish whether I can help.
